We support older adults through guided volunteer programs that help overcome loneliness, language barriers, and digital challenges. With passionate volunteers, we offer daily-life English conversation circles, user-friendly digital literacy workshops, and community tours, creating meaningful pathways to stay engaged, informed, and confident — so you're never alone.

English Literacy Circles
Join us to practice everyday English for situations like doctor visits, grocery shopping, taking transit, or chatting with neighbours. Build confidence to communicate with locals in daily life.
Our Founder: Jean
Since arriving in Coquitlam, BC in 1998, Jean has been actively involved in the local community. She believes that every family carries unique values passed down from their parents and ancestors, and recognizes that adjusting these deeply rooted beliefs and values can be a significant challenge after settling in Canada—the second home many have chosen.
Since 2000, Jean has been dedicated to community and settlement services, assisting over 5,000 families in making Canada their new home. Currently, she continues this important work at SILVER CONNECT, focusing on supporting seniors and helping them stay connected and comfortable within their communities.
She is privileged to collaborate with Municipal Service Providers, Federal Agencies, and Local Law Service Providers to offer comprehensive support.
